A snow emergency has been declared within the Town of Kensington and will be effective at 4:00 pm on February 12th, 2017. The ban will last until 12:00 pm February 14th, 2017. During this time it shall be unlawful for any person having the custody and/or control of any vehicle to park or cause the same to be parked within the public right of way during a snow emergency. We thank you ahead of time for your cooperation so we can ensure the safe and unrestricted passage of snow removal and emergency vehicles.

The police department will be staffed round the clock until further notice to ensure a timely response during the storm. We ask that you avoid any downed power lines and take all precautions to ensure generators are properly vented in the event we lose power. As always, don’t hesitate to call if you are in need of our assistance.
