Putnam County—The two illegal alien Hispanic males, who fled from an Indiana State Police trooper during a traffic stop yesterday morning near the 43 mile marker on Interstate 70, have been located and detained.

This morning at 10:00, Indiana State Police at Putnamville received a tip that the two males could possibly be found at a local restaurant on Main Street in the town of Cloverdale. Troopers went to the establishment, located the males, and took them into custody without incident.

The individuals are currently held in the Putnam County Jail awaiting agents from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.

There will be no local criminal charges filed.

Please direct any questions about the hold or the future outcome of the individuals to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.

No further information will be released by ISP.

No pictures.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
