Muncie Woman Arrested for Cocaine
Muncie – A traffic stop last night for a traffic violation led to the arrest of a Muncie woman for Possession of Cocaine and Marijuana. Around 8:15 p.m. last night Trooper Sam Cook was at the intersection of Macedonia Ave. and Burlington Ave., in Muncie, when he observed a black Oldsmobile that was traveling west on Burlington roll through the intersection, never coming to a complete stop at the stop sign.
As he caught up to the vehicle he couldn’t see the registration plate on the back due to a dark tint shield over the plate. After stopping the vehicle at Ohio and Adams Street he approached the driver, Kristin Altic, age 34 of Muncie, and could smell marijuana inside the vehicle.
Further investigation led to the discovery of a small “rock” of crack Cocaine and a baggy containing Marijuana. Altic was lodged in the Delaware County Jail for Felony Possession of Cocaine and Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana. Cook was assisted at the scene by Trooper Dana Harvey.
