Winter weather advisory in effect from 5pm this afternoon to 5 am Wednesday. 1-5 inches of snow expected

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
5 AM EST WEDNESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued A Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow...which is in effect
from 5 PM this afternoon to 5 AM EST Wednesday.

* Expect snow will become more widespread after 5 PM and then
diminish before 5 AM Wednesday.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 7 PM THIS
EVENING AND 1 AM Wednesday.

* Total snow accumulations of 1 to 5 inches ARE EXPECTED.

* Look for reduced visibilities at times.

* Plan on slippery road conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
