Newberry County Coroner’s Office along with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred on February 14, 2017 at approximately 7:15 am in the 300 Block of Main Street (also known as Highway 76 in Little Mountain, SC).
According to Coroner Laura Kneece, a four year old passenger, Titiyanna Kessler of Little Mountain was pronounced at a local hospital due to injuries sustained in the motor vehicle collision. An autopsy has been ordered to determine cause of death. The child was not properly restrained in a child safety seat.
This incident remains under investigation by Newberry County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol.
