Four Arrested for Drugs in New Castle
New Castle – Two men and two women were arrested last night and early this morning in New Castle on arrest warrants for Possession of Methamphetamine. The arrest warrants were the result of ongoing investigations by the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section.
The first arrests occurred around 9:46 p.m. when Trooper Thomas Ratliff stopped a Toyota Camry on Elliot St. at Cherry St. in New Castle for driving left of center. After making contact with the driver Andrew Goar, age 50 of New Castle, it was found he was wanted on warrants for Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, both Level 6 Felony charges.
Goar’s passenger, Brookelynn Carr, age 24 of New Castle, was also found to be wanted on warrants for Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. As part of the ongoing investigation a search warrant was served by the Meth Suppression Section on Carr and Goar’s residence at 920 Plum St. in New Castle around 3 a.m. this morning.
As a result of that search warrant Goar and Carr were both charged for a second time with Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony. Goar was also charged with Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Level 6 Felony. They were lodged in the Henry County Jail.
Shortly after midnight Meth Suppression Troopers went to the residence at 1205 Ivywood Ct. in New Castle, where they located two wanted subjects. David Lemock, age 30, and Madeline Goar, age 27, were arrested on warrants for Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, both Level 6 Felony charges.
As part of the ongoing investigation, a search warrant was served on the Ivywood Ct. residence and as a result, Madeline Goar and Lemock were also both charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6, and Possession of Marijuana, misdemeanor. They were lodged in the Henry County Jail.
Meth Suppression Troopers were assisted in their investigation by troopers from the Pendleton Post, the New Castle Police Department, Henry County Sheriff’s Department and Henry County Prosecutor Joe Bergacs.
