Wanted non-compliant registered sex offender Steven John Gollnick has been located and apprehended in Branch County, Michigan. On 02/15/2014 just before 5:00 pm, Steven Gollnick was taken into custody by the Branch County Sheriff’s Office without incident. Gollnick was located at a residence in the 700 block of Hammond Rd in rural Branch County. The Branch County Sheriff’s Office was acting on a tip that was received by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office concerning Gollnick’s possible whereabouts. Gollnick was also wanted out of Hillsdale County, Michigan and was transported to the Hillsdale County Jail on the Michigan charges. Gollnick will remain held awaiting extradition back to Steuben County. The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all those who assisted with providing tips and information.
