Good Thursday morning! The following are activities and calls for service for the Sheriff’s Office for 2/15/2017.

-Foster Stub Rd at Leopard Rd: Loose Livestock. While on patrol, a deputy located loose livestock in the area. The cattle were secured back on the property.

-1310 Avenue H, Levelland (LEC): Theft. A deputy met with a complainant about a possible theft report. The individual was not the victim, and was advised the victim would need to report the offense to file a report.

-1310 Avenue H, Levelland (LEC): Theft. A deputy met with a complainant regarding a possible theft report. Based on the information provided, there was no criminal offense and civil remedies were advised.

-Houston St at Avenue C, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD. A deputy assisted with a vehicle crash at the intersection that blocked the roadway.

-400 blk Hwy 114, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD. A deputy was dispatched to Wal-Mart in reference to a disturbance. Deputies checked the area and did not locate the individuals said to be involved in the verbal disturbance.

-Hwy 114 at Alamo, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD. Deputies were requested to assist at the scene of a vehicle crash at the intersection.

-2400 blk E Hwy 114: Roadway Obstruction. A deputy was dispatched to the area in reference to a roadway obstruction. The item was located and the roadway was cleared.

Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in areas of the county, warrant service attempts, civil process service, and investigative follow-up activities.

Jail Population as of 2/16/17 at 0800 hours: 48 in Hockley County, 34 out-of-county.
