Beginning Feb. 20th, Cuyahoga St. btwn. Sommers Ct. & N. Howard St. will be CLOSED for approx. 60 days for sewer work 
Great Lakes Construction Company, Thomarios Construction and the City of Akron continue work on the Howard Street Storage Basin (CSO Rack 22). The majority of this project is located at the south side of Cuyahoga Street, just west of Howard St.
Beginning February 20, 2017, the section of Cuyahoga St. located between Sommers Ct. and N. Howard St. will be closed to all traffic as sewer work is being completed. The posted detour route will be north on N. Howard St., W. Tallmadge Ave. to Cuyahoga St. and the reverse.
This closure is expected to last 60 days and the entire project is planned to be completed by December 31, 2017.
