Crews will be on Rt. 539 between Rt. 528 & Hill Lane doing prescribed burns. 
Crews from the Plumsted Twp. Fire District & NJ Forest Fire Service will be on Route 539 doing Prescribed Burns today. The burns will be conducted between Route 528 & Hill Lane. Resident living & traveling through the area are expected to see smoke and fire in the woods today.
Also, the Joint Base is doing Prescribed Burns on Cookstown-Browns Mills Road near the Pemberton Twp. border.
