*Update* #LASD Homicide Shooting Death Investigation, 2300 BLK Bashor Street, Duarte
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male Black adult that occurred on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 8:18 p.m. on the 2300 block of Bashor Street, Duarte.
Detectives have learned that the victim, a 39 year-old man, parked his car behind his wife’s car at the location. The victim and his wife exited their cars and were preparing to walk to their residence on Mount Olive Drive.
A white vehicle driving westbound on Bashor Street pulled up alongside the victim. An occupant opened fire striking the victim multiple times. The victim’s wife was uninjured.
The suspect’s vehicle drove westbound on Bashor Street to northbound Mount Olive Drive and out of view.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
