One Arrest after Foot Chase in Cloverdale
Putnam County—This afternoon at 4:00, Indiana State Police Trooper Colton Maynor was conducting a traffic stop on US 231 in Cloverdale, when a second and unrelated vehicle drove up behind Trooper Maynor’s police car. The female driver of the second vehicle immediately told Trooper Maynor that her boyfriend was wanted on a warrant and he had witnessed the police cruiser of Maynor’s, panicked, and jumped from her car. She gave a physical description of the male and at approximately 4:30p.m., Trooper Maynor noticed him walking near US 231 and activated his lights. The suspect fled on foot and evaded officers until approximately 5:00p.m., when officers found the suspect on the floor of the US Post Office in Cloverdale. He was taken into custody without incident and incarcerated in the Putnam County Jail.
Arrested: Adam Lee Falk, age 30, of Spencer, IN.
Warrant charge Violation of Probation for Invasion of Privacy- misdemeanor,
Owen County
Today’s charge Resisting Law Enforcement, misdemeanor
Assisting were ISP Trooper James Crisp, Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy Matt Biggs, and Cloverdale Police Sergeant Charlie Hallam.
