Scott County Sheriff Wes Drury reports a Morley man arrested for Weapon and Drug Charges.
Kenneth L. Boley (63) has been charged with the Class C Felony of Trafficking Drugs 2nd Degree, the Class D Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Class D Felony of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and the Class D Felony of Unlawful Use of a Weapon by Possessing a Firearm with a Felony Controlled Substance.
Sheriff Drury states that on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 deputies executed a search warrant outside of Morley. Located in the residence was a safe which contained a clear, plastic baggy with a large white rock like substance weighing approximately 35 grams. Next to the substance were two loaded pistols.
Located in a bedroom drawer was a bowl containing approximately 18 grams of a white rock like substance. Next to the substance was another loaded pistol.
All of the white rock like substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Boley a convicted felon, was arrested and transported to the Scott County Jail pending formal charges.
Boley remains in custody at the Scott County Jail. Bond was set by the court at $35,000 cash or surety.
