Bank Robbery Suspect Turns Himself In

Modesto, CA – A man suspected of robbing a north Modesto bank on Valentine’s Day, has been arrested.
On Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at about 12:15 p.m., officers investigated a robbery at Chase Bank in the 2900 block of Standiford Avenue. Witnesses reported that a man walked into the bank and passed a note while providing the teller with instructions. The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money before he fled the bank on foot.
Investigating detectives quickly identified 25-year-old Nickolas Gulley as the robbery suspect and issued an Information and Belief warrant for his arrest. Yesterday, Gulley contacted detectives via telephone prior to turning himself in at the police department.
Gulley was booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for robbery and violation of parole.
