Blizzard Warning for Cherokee County from 6 pm tonight to midnight Friday night.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A BLIZZARD WARNING, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT CST FRIDAY NIGHT.

Total snow accumulations averaging 8-12 inches are likely, with some higher amounts possible.
Winds will increase from the north around 25-35 mph tonight, with gusts to near 45 mph at times late into Friday.

Instructions:

TIMING...A POSSIBLE MIX OF RAINAND SNOW THIS AFTERNOON WILL
CHANGE TO ALL SNOW THROUGH THIS EVENING. SNOW WILL CONTINUE
HEAVY AT TIMES THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY, BEFORE GRADUALLY
TAPERING OFF FRIDAY EVENING.
