AB109 Probationer Arrested for Meth Sales
On Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at about 10:13 PM Officers with the Anderson Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a 2005 Honda Accord in the area of Second St. and Webster Dr. for a traffic violation.
The vehicle did not immediately pull to the right shoulder, but rather slowly continued down the street along the right shoulder. As the vehicle slowed to a stop the passenger in the vehicle threw an item out of the passenger window.
Officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle and found the driver to be Destinie FOLSOM, age 26 of Redding, and the passenger to be Jason GRAY, age 42, of Anderson.
A records check revealed both subjects to be on Post Release Community Supervision (AB109) out of Shasta County.
Officers located the item GRAY threw out the passenger window. The item was found to be a small camera bag that contained over a quarter pound of methamphetamine packaged for sales, a digital scale, and additional packaging materials.
GRAY was arrested for possession and transportation of methamphetamine, destruction of evidence, and a violation of his PRCS probation terms.
A records check on FOLSOM revealed her to have a suspended driver’s license. FOLSOM was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license and additional charges will be filed for a violation of her PRCS probation.
