Investigators Seeking Additional Victims of Sexual Assault

Los Angeles:  Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Division, Sex Crimes Unit are seeking additional victims of sexual abuse of a child by Amador Valencia Santos, aka “Omar” who was arrested on February 9, 2017.

Santos met the victims through mutual friends and earned their trust to have their children spend the night at his residence.  Santos groomed the victim’s trust by taking them to the movies, amusement parks, playing video games and basketball games with them.  Santos showed adult pornography and sexually abused the victims while they were inside his residence.

57-year-old Amador Valencia Santos was charged for multiple counts of 288.5 PC – Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child and other sex crimes.  Santos is currently in custody and being held on $2,400.000.00 bail.

The first incident occurred in 1998. Prior to Santos’s arrest, unidentified children were observed entering his residence.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims of other unreported incidents and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating them.

Anyone with information about additional victims is asked to call Southwest Area Sex Crimes detectives, Detective Segura, at (323) 290-2975.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (1-877-527-3247).  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call the L.A.
