On Wednesday the NWS Nashville will likely activate storm spotter to help with an intense severe weather set up over the mid-state. Temps are expected to reach the low 70's. With the temps and a strong southerly wind flow, this will help to aid in the destabilization of the air mass over the mid-state. We are expecting a squall line to form and be a widespread damaging wind event. With that said tornadoes can not be ruled out. Also with the trailing cold front large hail will also be a hazard.
