Wrong Way Driver almost Collides into Troopers on US 41, Driver Arrested for DUI.
 
Vanderburgh County – Early this morning at approximately 12:40, Troopers Compton and Weis were patrolling northbound on US 41 south of Boonville New Harmony Road when a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes almost collided head-on with their patrol car. The wrong-way driver was stopped and identified as Jon Kosor, 55, of Evansville. He was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion. Further investigation revealed Kosor was impaired and had a blood alcohol content of .14%. He was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where he is currently being held on bond.
