Flemington Man Sentenced for Child Pornography
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, announced the sentencing of Adolfo Reyes-Aguayo, age 39, of Flemington, NJ.
Reyes-Aguayo was arrested in July 2016 after a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit and the Flemington Police Department revealed he was in possession of child pornography.
On January 9, 2017, Mr. Reyes-Aguayo pled guilty to Possession of Child Pornography.
Mr. Reyes-Aguayo was sentenced by the Honorable Angela F. Borkowski, JSC, to three years in state prison. In addition, Mr. Reyes-Aguayo is subject to deportation after his incarceration due to an ICE detainer that is in place from the U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Prosecutor Kearns stated, “The exploitation of children is a heinous and devastating crime. The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office is committed to apprehending child predators and ensuring that there are serious consequences for those who commit crimes against children.”
