Winter Weather Advisory 9am-10pm, 3/1/17. Rain changes to snow Wednesday, expect reduced visibilty and slick roads.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO 10 PM EST
WEDNESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued A Winter
Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect from 9 AM to 10 PM
EST Wednesday.

* Rain will transition to snow from northwest to southeast
Wednesday morning into the early afternoon hours.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 1 PM and 7 PM
Wednesday.

* Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are expected, with
locally heavier amounts possible.

* Look for reduced visibilities at times and plan on slippery road
conditions....including during the evening commute on
Wednesday.

* Wet nature of snow, combined with increasingly gusty north
winds, may result in some minor tree damage and power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited
visibilities...and use caution while driving.
