The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Tornado Watch for portions of
Southeast Indiana
Central Kentucky
Southwest Ohio
Middle Tennessee
* Effective this Wednesday morning from 455 AM until 1000 AM CST.
* Primary threats include...
A couple tornadoes possible
Widespread damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts
to 80 mph possible
Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
SUMMARY...A fast-moving squall line will race eastward at roughly 60
mph across middle Tennessee, central Kentucky, and southwest Ohio
through the morning. Widespread damaging winds can be expected,
along with some tornado risk with embedded circulations in the line.
The tornado watch area is approximately along and 90 statute miles
east and west of a line from 10 miles north of Cincinnati OH to 85
miles south southwest of Nashville TN. For a complete depiction of

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
