I am super sorry that I have to put this reminder out there, but it seems I must. South Green Street Park is NOT where people should be bringing their trash/recyclables/cardboard, etc. Everyday now the Public Works Department is picking up something from there and this should not be happening as the yard is right up the street and open 7am to 3:30 pm.... And if you are a Little Egg Harbor resident and doing this... the yard for LEHT is right up the road as well... so there is means for you to dispose of trash OR you can always put it to the curb and our wonderful PW employees will be around to pick it up..... Again I am sorry to have to bother people with this, but if anyone sees someone doing this would you please let our Police or Public Works Manager know so that we can maybe educate them.... Also, if you have questions or feel the yard cannot accommodate your schedule please call the Public Works Department at 609-296-5058 and speak to the Manager... he will help as best as he can... Thank for your understanding and hopefully this will eliminate the issue going further.
