The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Tuesday morning through Tuesday afternoon.

* WIND...Sustained westerly winds of 15 to 25 mph are expected, with occasional gusts as high as 40 mph.

* HUMIDITY...Relative humidity is expected to drop as low as 15 percent on Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
