The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Monroe County in southwestern Illinois...
St. Clair County in southwestern Illinois...
Northeastern Jefferson County in east central Missouri...
South central St. Louis County in east central Missouri...

* Until 145 AM CST.

* At 1247 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Valley Park to near Horine, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Belleville, O`Fallon, East St. Louis, Arnold, Fairview Heights,
Cahokia, Swansea, Shiloh, Festus, Waterloo, Columbia, Mascoutah,
Pevely, Centreville, Crystal City, Lebanon, Freeburg, Dupo,
Millstadt and Red Bud.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 64 in Illinois between exits 12 and 23.
Interstate 55 in Missouri between exits 174 and 191.
This also includes Mastodon Historic Site, Sandy Creek Covered
Bridge Historic Site, and Gov. Dunklin`s Grave Historic Site.
