MISSING CHESAPEAKE FEMALE WITH DEMENTIA HAS BEEN LOCATED BY PORTSMOUTH OFFICERS. 
UPDATE, March 7, 2017 at 11:10 p.m.: Portsmouth Police Officers have located 62-year-old Ardell Brooks.
This message is being sent at the request of the Chesapeake Police Department:
The Chesapeake Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a missing female with dementia who may be in the City of Portsmouth, specifically the Parkview and downtown area. Officers are searching for 62-year-old Ardell Brooks of Chesapeake who was last seen in the 1000 block of Bay Street just before 6:30 p.m. this evening, after a good Samaritan gave her a ride to a location where Ms. Brooks said she lived.
Ardell Brooks is a black female that stands approximately 5'7" tall and weighs 180 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red coat, blue jeans, with pink and green Nike sneakers.
