Attention Rutgers Community:
The New Brunswick Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault which was reported to have occurred on March 8, 2017, at approximately 12:45 AM on College Avenue between Somerset Street and Hamilton Street.
In this incident, an affiliated individual reported that he was assaulted following a verbal dispute outside of a residence located on College Avenue. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and sought medical treatment at a local area hospital.
The New Brunswick Police Department asks that anyone with information, or who may have been in the area at the time, contact the New Brunswick Police Department Detective Bureau at 732-745-5217.
Descriptions of the perpetrator are limited at this time.
