Hockley County Sheriff's Office calls for service and activities for 3/8/17. 
Good Thursday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for 3/8/17.
-Sampson Post Rd at Horseshoe Rd, Sundown: Vehicle Crash. Deputies responded to assist with a vehicle crash near the intersection until DPS arrived on scene.
-FM 168 at Foster Rd, Ropesville: Stolen Vehicle. Deputies responded to the area and aided in the recovery of a stolen vehicle reported in Terry County. The scene was processed and our office will assist in the investigation as needed.
-100 blk Hwy 114, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD. A deputy assisted a Levelland officer on a traffic contact. The driver was arrested by Levelland PD and transported to the jail.
-400 blk Ranch, Ropesville: Possible Overdoes. Deputies responded to a call about a subject taking pills and leaving the residence in a possible suicidal state. Deputies searched and later located the individual at a residence in the 6900 blk Elephant Rd. The individual was checked by EMS and released with no signs of intoxication or other issues.
-1300 blk 59th St, Lubbock: Warrant Service. The Sheriff’s Office received information about the location of an individual wanted for felony warrants. Contact was made with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office and a Hockley County deputy went to assist. The individual was located and taken into custody. He was transported and booked into the Lubbock County jail.
-900 blk Avenue B, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD. A deputy assisted with locating an individual with an active felony warrant. The individual was located and transported to the Hockley County jail.
Deputies conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in areas of the county, investigative follow-up duties, and civil process service.
Jail population as of 3/9/17 at 0800 hours: 51 in Hockley County, 5 to be processed, 16 out-of-county.
