Downtown road closures in NKC on Saturday, March 11 from 10:30 to 2:00, for #snakesaturday parade. Plan accordingly. 
On Saturday, March 11th, North Kansas City will be hosting the 33rd annual Snake Saturday Parade, and carnival. To accommodate for the parade, road closures will begin at 8:00am with parts of Armour Rd, Swift St, and Howell St closing at 10:30am. Please join us for the fun but if your just passing though plan your travels accordingly. It is our goal to have the parade route re-opened by 2:00pm. Various side streets will remain closed throughout the day for festival activities.
The Snake Saturday festivities are a family friendly event and the Police Department will have zero tolerance for the open possession of any alcoholic beverages on the streets and sidewalks.
