On 3/9/2017 at 11:56 a.m. the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department responded to the Silicon Valley Jewish Federation Campus located at 14855 Oka Rd. in regards to a communicated bomb threat reported by campus staff. Evacuations of the Silicon Valley Jewish Federation Campus were conducted as a precautionary measure and response to the threat. The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad responded to the scene and determined that no explosive devices were located, and rendered the area safe at 3:50 p.m. The police department has re-opened Oka Rd. and the Silicon Valley Jewish Federation Campus has resumed normal business.

The Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department will be conducting additional investigation working with local and Federal law enforcement authorities in this investigation.
