...Winter Weather Advisory for Much of Middle Tennessee Tonight... .An upper level low will move through Middle Tennessee tonight producing snowfall, mainly south of Interstate 40. Most locations will have less than 1 inch of slushy snow, but a few spots along a line from Linden, to Columbia, Shelbyville, and Manchester, may have 2 inches. Late night temperatures will drop below freezing, so some slick spots could develop, especially on elevated surfaces. Any travel problems will improve Sunday morning with sunshine warming temperatures above freezing by 10 AM. ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM CST THIS EVENING TO 7 AM CDT SUNDAY... The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow, which is in effect from 6 PM CST this evening to 7 AM CDT Sunday.

* MAIN IMPACT...Snow will accumulate, mainly south of Interstate 40. Locations in a band including Linden, Hohenwald, Columbia, Shelbyville, and Manchester could see 1 to 2 inch amounts. Other locations outside this main band, including Nashville, will have less than 1 inch of slushy snow.
