Muncie – Saturday night, around 10:20 p.m. Trooper Michael Tinch was driving south on Madison St. in Muncie when he saw a vehicle in front of him with no tail lights.  As he caught up to the vehicle he also noticed the registration plate on the Chevrolet car had expired in December, 2016.
 
Trooper Tinch got the vehicle stopped at Madison and 15^th St. and made contact with the driver, Maranda Harty, age 36 of Muncie.  Ms. Harty was found to be operating while her license were suspended.  Her male passenger, Danny Ray Maddox, age 26 of Selma, was found to be wanted on a felony warrant out of Delaware County for Strangulation, Level 6 Felony, and two counts of “A” Misdemeanor Battery.
 
The driver, Maranda Harty, was cited for Driving While Suspended with a prior conviction, misdemeanor and operating a vehicle with an expired registration plate. Danny Ray Maddox was transported to the Delaware County Jail and lodged on the felony warrant.
