Light snow is expected to begin late Monday night and intensify overnight in effect for Berwyn Heights .
The National Weather Service issued a blizzard watch from late Monday night through Tuesday evening. Heavy snow expected in the area Monday night into Tuesday noon.
Help us keep streets open to plows and emergency vehicles by parking at least 20 feet away from intersections and no further than 1 foot from the curb. Don’t block sidewalks, fire hydrants, ramps, driveways or the street with your vehicle. If you have a driveway, use it! Park your vehicle(s) off the road so more snow can be cleared away and your vehicles are less likely to get plowed in, splashed, or hit. It's important for us to keep main roads clear for plows and emergency vehicles during extreme weather.
For your safety, make sure to clear all snow at least one foot around your muffler before starting your engine. Blocked mufflers can cause carbon monoxide poisoning
The BHPD encourage all residents to be prepared for this potentially dangerous Nor'easter that will bring heavy snow, and strong winds.
