Due to the predicted blizzard, voting has been postponed from Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 to Thursday, March 16th, 2017 from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm at the Town Hall, 95 Amesbury Rd.

Trash pick-up has also been postponed until Thursday, March 16th, 2017

A snow emergency has been declared within the Town of Kensington and will be effective at 8:00 am on March 14th, 2017. The ban will last until 5:00 pm March 15th, 2017. During this time it shall be unlawful for any person having the custody and/or control of any vehicle to park or cause the same to be parked within the public right of way during a snow emergency. Vehicles interfering with snow plowing and removal operations shall be towed and stored at the owner’s expense.

We thank you ahead of time for your cooperation so we can ensure the safe and unrestricted passage of snow removal and emergency vehicles.

The police department will be staffed round the clock to ensure a timely response during the storm. We ask that you avoid any downed power lines and take all precautions to ensure generators are properly vented in the event we lose power.
