Absecon, NJ storm information for late tonight into Tuesday.
A winter storm will impact Absecon with the potential for very strong winds – tidal flooding – and significant snow accumulations late tonight…changing to heavy rain then back to snow in the late morning Tuesday.
A Winter storm warning is in effect for Atlantic County from 8pm this evening through 6 pm Tuesday evening.
A Coastal Flood warning is in effect from 7 am Tuesday through 3 pm Tuesday afternoon. South Shore Rd and New Road will be impassable at times of high tide.
A High Wind Warning is in effect from 6 am to 6 pm Tuesday. Winds could gust to hurricane force especially in the morning.
This is a fast moving storm and will disrupt travel especially from 5 am through early afternoon. Residents are urged to use extreme caution.
There may also be power outages as a result of downed tree branches and power lines.
