Roselle Man Found Guilty of Drug and Weapons Charges

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III, announced the guilty verdict of Pascal Exilus, age 33, of Roselle, NJ. Mr. Exilus was found guilty of Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, and Certain Persons Not to Possess a Weapon, both second degree crimes, and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance(Cocaine), a third degree crime.

On November 20, 2015, Mr. Exilus was arrested by the Flemington Borough Police Department after a motor vehicle stop on Route 31 northbound in Flemington. Members of the Raritan Township Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office assisted in the investigation and arrest. Mr. Exilus was indicted by a Hunterdon Grand Jury in February of 2016.

The weeklong jury trial was presided over by the Honorable Angela Borkowski, J.S.C. The State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Christopher Vaccaro and the defendant was represented by Edward J. Hesketh, Esq. Mr. Exilus will be held in the Somerset County Jail as he awaits his sentencing on April 28, 2017.
