The Honorable Mayor Wilda Diaz and the Office of Emergency Management would like to thank all residents of the City for being patient as we worked through the clean-up these past few days after the snow storm.  Although the storm left us with less than the initial prediction, the conditions were still unfavorable.  Many residents heeded the warnings and complied with the reminder announcements, thus allowing the major roadways and emergency routes to be rapidly cleared by our DPW crews.

We want to thank the DPW and Public Safety personnel for the exceptional diligence these past few days and especially for the cooperation of all of our residents for taking the time to help their neighbors, for their preparedness, and for their prompt removal of their vehicles from the snow emergency streets.

We hope this is the last major snow storm of the season, as we now work towards roadway/pothole repairs and continuing clean-ups.
