Oakdale man arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

Oakdale, CA – Oakdale Police Detectives arrested Michael Bidwell, a 60-year-old resident of Oakdale, Thursday morning related to a child pornography investigation.
Oakdale Police Investigators were made aware of a subject residing in Oakdale, who was downloading child pornography. With intelligence gathered and assistance from Forensic Investigators, Oakdale Detectives wrote and served multiple search warrants, which led to the locating of child pornography and subsequent arrest of Bidwell.
Bidwell was arrested for allegedly possessing matter depicting sexual conduct by a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor. Bidwell was booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for several charges related to Child Pornography including 311.1 PC, 311.2 PC, 311.3 PC.
