Alleged non-compliant registered sex offender Matthew Ray Epperson wanted out of Steuben County. 
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted alleged non-complaint registered sex offender. On 03/17/2017, an arrest warrant was issued charging 31 year old Matthew Ray Epperson with 1 count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender, a level 6 felony and 1 count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender with a previous conviction, a level 5 felony. Epperson allegedly failed to appear in-person and register at the Sheriff’s Office when required to do so. Epperson is described as a white male standing 5’8” tall and weighing approximately 170 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes and may be wearing glasses. Epperson was last known to be in the Orland area. Anyone with information on Epperson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office or Steuben County Crime Stoppers.
