Putnamville Troopers Busy during St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations
Putnamville—On Friday evening, March 17, Indiana State Police troopers from the Putnamville Post conducted extra patrols looking for dangerous and impaired drivers. The added patrols are in conjunction with the ongoing federally funded traffic safety project Operation Pull Over.

Some of the criminal arrests were for possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana found during traffic stops with assistance of ISP K-9 handlers. Other criminal arrests comprised of minor alcohol violations and persons found to be wanted on warrants.
The Indiana State Police will continue to conduct random impaired driving patrols during the month of March. Please drive safe and sober.
Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
