ANDERSON OFFICERS FIND 2 MORE STOLEN VEHICLES
On Saturday, 3-18-17 at approximately 1013 hours, Anderson Police Officers were patrolling the area of Albert Drive and Manter Road, in the city of Anderson, when the officers saw a lady riding a suspicious looking motorcycle down Albert Drive. The Officers knew something was amiss based on the fact the Kawasaki Adventure style motorcycle had been re painted in a way that was obviously used to disguise the motorcycle. The officers, with the assistance of the SHASCOM dispatcher, were able to determine the motorcycle was stolen, as was the second license plate that was covering the original license plate. 37 year old WFA Anderson resident, Tamia JACKSON was arrested and booked into the Shasta County Jail for suspicion of vehicle theft.
On 3-19-17 at approximately 0957 hours, the same Anderson Police Officers were patrolling the Anna Road at C Street area, just outside of The Anderson City proper, when they came across a suspicious 1995 Honda Prelude. The officers confirmed that the Honda was a reported stolen vehicle out of Redding. The vehicle's registered owner responded to pick up their vehicle and were very pleased to have their vehicle returned by the members of The Anderson Police Department.
