Good Wednesday afternoon! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for 3/21/17.

-800 blk Houston, Levelland: Warrant Service. A deputy arrested an individual at the courthouse for active warrants. The individual was transported to the jail and booked without incident.

-2300 blk E. Ellis, Levelland: Civil Issue. A deputy responded to meet with a complaint about a civil matter with a landlord. The situation was checked and no offenses were reported.

-100 blk Mandy Circle, Opdyke West: Disturbance. Deputies met with a complainant regarding behavior of her son. No offenses were reported to deputies and remedies were provided to the caller.

-1600 blk Avenue X, Levelland: Theft. A deputy completed a report related to stolen items from a residence. The information was collected and an investigation is underway.

Deputies conducted close patrols/vacation watches, investigative follow-up activities, patrols in areas of the county, and civil process service.

Jail population as of 3/22/17 at 0800 hours: 47 in Hockley County, 5 to be processed, and 14 out of county.
