There is a Freezing Rain Advisory from 8 pm until 10 a.m. Monday with a trace of ice accumulations
Freezing rain may begin as early as this evening, increasing in intensity by Monday morning. Temperatures will warm and freezing rain will change to rain Monday morning.
Freezing rain will cause roadways to become very slick, leading to dangerous travel conditions. Ice accumulation on trees will weigh down limbs and could snap small branches.
Winds from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph with temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
Instructions:
A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. Also, do not approach downed power lines and ice coated trees/branches will be extremely heavy and could cause significant damage if they fall.
