*Update* #LASD Homicide Stabbing Death Investigation, 37000 Block of Springfield St, Palmdale
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the stabbing death of a woman and the wounding of another. The incident occurred Thursday, March 30, 2017 at approximately 3:29 p.m., on the 37000 block of Springfield Street, Palmdale.
Deputies from Palmdale Station responded to a “911” call of an “assault just occurred.” While enroute to the call, they saw a male Hispanic adult walking down the street who appeared to be covered in blood. The deputies detained the man, who made statements to them that he was involved in the incident they were responding to.
As the deputies arrived at the location, they made contact with the surviving victim, who had visible trauma to her upper body. She took the deputies inside the residence, to the second victim, who had significant trauma to her upper body.
The surviving victim is a female Hispanic adult who was transported to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.
The deceased female adult victim was pronounce dead at the scene.
A possible weapon was recovered at the location.
The surviving victim is the mother of the suspect, and the deceased victim is the grandmother of the suspect.
The suspect, Richard Flores, male Hispanic 29 years-old, was transported to Palmdale Station and booked for murder. He is being held in lieu of $2,000,000 bail.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 37000 block of Springfield Street, Lancaster, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a female adult and the wounding of a second female adult.
The first female victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The second female victim was transported to a local hospital and her condition is unknown at this time.
There is no additional information available at this time and the investigation is on-going.
