The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for heavy snow, from 2 p.m. this afternoon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, the winter storm watch is no longer in effect.

Heavy snow is possible with accumulations of 6 to 10 inches.
The snow will begin this afternoon and will increase in intensity Friday evening and overnight before ending during the midafternoon hours Saturday. Slippery roads and low visibilities with winds from the east from 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph, temperatures in the lower 30s and visibility from one quarter to one half mile at times are expected.
