Wanted Felon Back in Jail
Richmond – The Indiana State Police was notified early this morning that wanted felon Thomas Vanmeter, age 23, had turned himself in at the Wayne County Jail. Vanmeter had been wanted for a Felony Parole Violation warrant for the original charge of Burglary.
Meth Suppression Troopers along with State Parole Agents had been actively seeking Vanmeter in the last week, and had made two felony arrests for unrelated crimes that were encountered while looking for Vanmeter. The Indiana State Police would like to thank the media for their help and the public for tips called in as they were trying to locate Vanmeter.
