New Castle Men Arrested On Felony Charges
New Castle – An ongoing drug investigation by the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section led to the arrest of two New Castle men last night. At 11:30 p.m. last night troopers and New Castle Police went to the home at 2108 S. 14th to serve a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation.
As a result of that search warrant Robert Parmar, age 35, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, both Level 6 Felony charges. In addition he was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia, misdemeanor.
Also arrested at the home was Homer Parmar, age 32, on a Felony Parole Violation Warrant. Both men were lodged in the Henry County Jail. Meth Suppression Troopers were assisted in their investigation by Pendleton District Troopers including K-9 Trooper Kendrick Donald and his partner Murtaugh; New Castle Police Department; Henry County Prosecutor Joe Bergacs; Indiana State Parole and Indiana Department of Child Services.
