Arrest: 22 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of hypodermic needle
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined that the driver was in possession of hypodermic needles. He was cited and released.

3/22/2017 1129 hours
300-blk Harding
Arrest: 34 year old male, resident of Santa Cruz; 24 year old male, resident of Santa Cruz
Charges: Possession of stolen vehicle, possession of hypodermic needle, possession of stolen property
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon their arrival, it was determined that the vehicle had been previously reported stolen in Santa Cruz. Both occupants were taken into custody without incident. A search yielded additional stolen property. Both subjects had outstanding warrants and were transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 27 year old female, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
Officers located a suspicious vehicle at a business that was closed. Soon after, two people were located. A consensual search yielded methamphetamine and hypodermic needles. The involved female was cited and released.

00-blk N. Santa Cruz
Officers responded to a report of two separate thefts from an establishment. Both victims reported their wallets and other personal items had been stolen from their purses.

3/25/2017 0140 hours
Winchester/Lark
Arrest: 47 year old male, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: DUI, hit and run
Officers observed a vehicle travelling with significant front-end damage and conducted an enforcement stop. The driver displayed the objective signs of intoxication. It was determined that the damage to the vehicle was sustained at Santana Row, where the driver collided with a support pillar in the parking garage. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Town Plaza Park
Arrest: 63 year old male, transient
Charges: Drunk in public, resisting arrest
Officers responded to a report of a subject causing a disturbance. Upon their arrival, the involved subject was uncooperative and resisted arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to Main Jail.

3/25/2017 1559 hours
Downtown Los Gatos
Officers responded to several reports of auto burglaries. Despite circulating the area for a period of time, no suspects were located.

Belgatos Park
Arrest: 29 year old male, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Town municipal code 19.10.025 (9) and 19.10.055(1)
Officers responded to a report of a subject in the park after hours, causing a disturbance. The involved subject was located and issued a citation for disorderly conduct at a Town Park and for being in the park after hours. The involved subject repeatedly called emergency dispatch and was admonished for misuse of the 911 system.

Arrest: 29 year old male, resident of Ceres
Charges: Trespassing
Officers responded to a report of a subject who had been observed entering the victim’s vehicle. Upon their arrival, it was determined that the suspect had entered the vehicle hours before while intoxicated and had fallen asleep. He was cited and released.

16300-blk Short
Officers responded to a report of an auto burglary. Unknown suspects smashed the vehicle’s window and removed the carbon fiber top. The carbon fiber top was later located. Several additional auto burglaries were reported to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office within their jurisdiction.
