Car Jacking Suspect Captured by APD 
On April 3rd 2017, at about 6:27PM, Anderson Police Officer’s located a stolen Chevrolet pick-up truck occupied by 33 year old, Joshua Michael Rocha of Anderson. Anderson Police had earlier taken a report from the owner of the truck who reported having the vehicle taken the night prior by physical force while at a local convenience store.
Rocha, who was identified by the victim, was found to be on active CDC Parole for a prior Robbery Conviction. Officer’s located the stolen Chevrolet and Mr. Rocha in the area of Sunset Lane in Redding after receiving a tip. Joshua Rocha was booked into the Shasta County Jail for Car Jacking and a number of other felonious offenses.
