Injured Occupant Identified from Earlier Crash
Sullivan County—the lone survivor of this morning’s crash near 11555 South Old US 41 has been identified as Samual Alan Mack (correct spelling) of Vincennes, Indiana. Mack is currently undergoing treatment for potential life threatening injuries at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. His family has been notified.
The deceased has yet to be positively identified, but troopers believe they know his identity and have notified family members.
ISP and the Sullivan County Coroner’s Office will release the deceased victim’s information as soon as the positive identification has been made, which may take a few days.
A different picture from the scene is attached.
Questions should be directed to ISP Sergeant Joe Watts.
Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
